The quiz “Dekho Apna Desh” was conducted by Gitarattan Institute of advanced studies & Training on 8th of July 2022, Friday in the college premises under the co-curricular house activity. This quiz was organized by The Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India.
The objective of this Quiz was to promote various tourism destinations of India – including the lesser known destinations and lesser known facets of popular destinations. The quiz includes a short video including glimpses of the culture, heritage, handicrafts and cuisine of the destinations, in addition to the tourist spots. It was an attempt to present an undiscovered India to its citizens and encourage them to travel.
Students of the institute participated in the quiz with high spirits. The quiz aimed at enriching the knowledge of the students about the ancient relics of our national heritage and also acquainting the students about the heritage sites and rare tourist places of the nation.
After the completion of the quiz, every participant downloaded the e-certificates from the site.
