Eastern and North-Eastern regional event was an spreading awareness on the issue of "Single Use Plasrics". The event addressed the issue os Plastic Pollution, Ways to overcome this issue and initiatives being taken by numerous organizations to bring significant changes. This event was held on 13th August 2021 on online platform having a nice number of people taking part in it. There were intellectuals who addressed the event highlighting the issue: Divya Datt hosted the webinar, Ashok Ghosh, Harikumar Thingbaijam (director at Manipur municipak administration and urvan development), and may more people. It was incredible to know how a unique school at the outskirts of Guwahati with the aim to bring children from poverty stricken families to school by accepting plastic waste as fee and developing skills. The webinar focused on ways to prevent pollution prevention. Our planet is drowing in plastic pollution it's time for change!
