Independence Day is celebrated annually on 15 August as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation independence from United Kingdom on 15 August 1947. For this purpose of enlightening this day's importance among the teacher trainees, Independence Day Celebration programme was organised on 14 August 2021 by the students of D.EL.ED II Year& B.ED II Year on Virtual Platform Google Meet.
The teacher trainees came forward with splendid performances for celebrating this occasion such as a delivering a poem on Independence/freedom, giving tribute to our soldiers, singing and dancing on patriotic songs, delivering a speech and many more. The performances were stupendous and all the teacher trainees participated in the celebration with full enthusiasm. Due to the on-going pandemic, the celebration was done on the virtual platform for which the teacher trainees did tremendous work by using the technology innovatively.
The teacher trainees were addressed by respected principal Madam; Prof. Sonia Jindal. She gave her warm wishes and asked them to stay strong during this pandemic. Other faculty members also gave the great wishes to the students.
The celebration came to an end with the singing or playing of National Anthem.
