EXTENSION LECTURE ON ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

An extension lecture on ‘Environmental Issues' was delivered at GITARATTAN INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES AND TRAINING by Nida Hussain, Pgt physics.
She focused on two crucial aspects of environmental conservation in the school setting – drinking water management and garbage management. These are pressing concerns that require our attention and immediate action. By understanding the importance of these practices and implementing effective solutions, we can contribute to a healthier and more sustainable environment. Ma’am begin by examining the significance of drinking water management within our school premises.


She Highlighted the significance of educating the college community about the importance of wastewater management and promoting responsible water use habits. She provided recommendations for implementing water-saving measures, such as installing low-flow fixtures, implementing rainwater harvesting systems, and promoting awareness campaigns.


By implementing sustainable wastewater management practices, college institutions can significantly reduce their environmental impact, promote water conservation, and contribute to a cleaner and healthier campus environment. It is imperative for colleges to recognize their responsibility and take proactive steps to ensure efficient wastewater management for the benefit of current and future generations.
