Constitution Day Celebration

Constitution of India is the supreme low of India. It is the framework for political principals, procedures, duties and power of government.

The National Constitution Day is celebrated on the 26th November every year to commemorate the introduction of our constitution. The final draft of the Indian Constitution, which is the longest in the world, was adopted on 26th November 1949 after almost 2 years, 11 months and 17 days. On the Republic Day that is 26th January 1950, the constitution of India was formally adopted in Indian Union. Dr. Bhim rao Ambedkar is known as the father of Indian Constitution. The Constitution of India is based on the value of Liberty, equality and fraternity.

On Friday, 26th November 2021 President Ramnath Kovind addressed the constitution day in the central hall of parliament and said that the development journey of India has been progressing on the strength of our constitution.

Our honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi also mentioned about colonial mind-set which beaked our country earlier .but now our country is growing and developing.
