To observe World environment day, GIAST organized a virtual meet. The theme of the event was Prakriti.
The virtual session was presided over by Prof Shikha, In her address, The director, Professor Sonia Jindal elucidated on the worldwide impact of Covid-19. She highlighted the relation between development and principles of sustainability. She also reiterated the foundations of the sustainable development such as doctrine of inter-generational equity' and 'environmental impact assessment.
Then a virtual Poster Making activity was held, where, the Pupil teacher skillfully used colors to explain how we can play our part in saving the environment. They also took a pledge to save environment in best of their capacities.
