Art and craft activities have always been a favored medium to stimulate and develop creativity within students. Poster making is one such activity.
“Poster making can sharpen writing skills, creative thinking, and organization of thoughts. GITARATTAN INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED STUDIES AND TRAINING organized the Poster Making activity (Inter-House Competition) on 18th February 2022 on the following themes:
Every house was divided into groups, each group had four members. Students had to create
one poster on the given topics. was about one hour and thirty minutes long, where students were asked to create a poster using their creativity on any one topic of their choice.
The vision behind this activity was to facilitate teamwork and understanding along with fostering creative thinking and extensive research and reading. These activities and events informal education system is a means of imbibing healthy competition spirits among students. Art and craft activity such as poster making enhance the creative expression among students through “Learning by doing”, and has a positive impact on the process of learning. Students participated in the activity very enthusiastically and penned down their perspectives through beautiful colors. They communicated their thoughts and emotions through drawings and slogans.
The that submitted their piece of artwork with their classroom coordinator Mrs. Savita. Based on the careful observations and keeping points of evaluation in mind the results were declared.
